The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in California at the age of 55.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.

The celebrated industry figure lost his life when his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday, as reported by.
